Federation analysts say that a shakeup in the Romulan power structure has left the empire vulnerable to attack from within and without. Those of us here at Cryptic Studios offer our heartfelt condolences to the Roddenberry family on the death of Majel Barrett Roddenberry.

We also wish to offer our condolences to our entire Star Trek family. Majel has been a part of Star Trek from the start and has protected and nourished that dream for over four decades. There is no one else like her. She died of leukemia at the age of 76 on December 18, 2008, at 12:27 a.m. during her sleep. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.
