Experience Star Trek Online during our headstart period (January 29, 2010 - February 1, 2010)!

Two simple steps to join:

  1. Activate Your Pre-order Key (I need a key)
  2. Download Game Client
A product key is a unique 25-character alphanumeric identifier that you need in order to get access to the game.
Reinstalling the game or installing it on a new computer?

If this window appeared as a part of your installation, but you have previously created your account and activated your retail key, you may close this browser window and allow your installation to complete. Once the installation is complete, you will be able to log into the game with your regular account information, provided you have an active subscription. If you have forgotten your password, you may use the 'Forgot Password' link to reset it.
If you purchased a box product, the product key is located on the inside cover of your game manual.

If you purchased digitally, you should have received your product key via email. If you didn't get one, please contact the digital vendor that you purchased the key from for assistance.

Q: Where can I get a pre-order key?
A: Pre-order keys are included in all pre-order boxes, check out the retailers page to find out where to buy Star Trek Online.

Q: How do I keep playing after the headstart ends?
A: When you receive your retail copy of the game, simply activate your retail key on your account at http://www.startrekonline.com/activate.

Q: I have the Open/Closed Beta client installed, do I need to re-download/install?
A: No, you don't have to re-install. Your beta client will patch up to the current client automatically. After February 1, 2010, all you need to do is activate your retail product key to continue playing after headstart ends.
